Produktionspreis des 39. Internationalen Wettbewerbs für Choreografie Hannover 2025

TANZ LINZ und das Landestheater Linz vergeben erneut den Produktionspreis des Internationalen Choreografie-Wettbewerbs Hannover, der vom 19. bis 21. Juni 2025 stattfindet. Als einziges österreichisches Theater ermöglichen wir einer:einem Finalist:in, ein abendfüllendes Tanzstück mit TANZ LINZ zu choreografieren. Das Thema der Produktion entspricht dem Spielzeit-Motto SO ALT WIE JUNG und regt zu einem Diskurs über Generationendynamiken, Wandel menschlicher Beziehungen und zeitlose Verbindungen an.

Die internationale Kompanie von TANZ LINZ mit 16 Tänzer:innen aus 12 Ländern bietet den Teilnehmer:innen die Chance, in einem professionellen Umfeld zu arbeiten und ihre Handschrift weiterzuentwickeln. 460 Bewerbungen aus 65 Ländern im Jahr 2024 zeigen den hohen Stellenwert des Wettbewerbs als Sprungbrett für junge Choreograf:innen.

Juni 2025.TANZ LINZ and the Landestheater Linz are once again awarding the production prize of the Hanover International Choreography Competition, which will take place from June 19 to 21, 2025. We are the only Austrian theater to enable one finalist to choreograph a full-length dance piece with TANZ LINZ. The theme of the production corresponds to the season's motto SO ALT WIE JUNG and encourages a discourse on generational dynamics, changes in human relationships and timeless connections.

The international company of TANZ LINZ with 16 dancers from 12 countries offers the participants the opportunity to work in a professional environment and develop their signature style. 460 applications from 65 countries in 2024 show the importance of the competition as a springboard for young choreographers.
