Edmund Konzert - Gmunden rockt

Das bleibt für immer. Es wurde zum Motto unseres Lebens. Und obendrein mochte noch sehr viel kommen.

Von Auftritten in dunklen Kellerräumen vor drei Neugierigen bis zu mit zehntausend Beseelten gefüllten Hallen. Von speziellen Eigenheiten wie WM-Hits, MTV-Unpluggeds, horizonterweiternden Videodrehs, Schallplatten aus Holz/Gold/und Platin, Lesetouren in Opernhäusern bis zum „ganz normalen“ Irrsinn einer Band samt unvergesslicher Tourneen in den Armen der besten Crew of the Universe. Von Vorband sein von Foo Fighters, Green Day und Grönemeyer bis zu Vorbands wie Ash, Nada Surf, Franz Ferdinand und Kaiser Chiefs. Alles dabei. Vom stets stützenden und treibenden Management bis zum immer integrierbaren sozialen Engagement. Gegen das Kreativloch, gegen die Neider, gegen die Stimmungsmacher, aber immer im Wissen, das, was wir machen, kann logischerweise nicht jedem gefallen. Wem gelingt das schon, außer Florian Wirtz?

Mit dem Werkzeug und dem Hintergrund von einem Hörspiel, zwei EPs, zehn Alben, Millionen Konzerten (for example Eggenfelden, Neustrelitz, Hamburg, Taschkent, Madrid, London, New York etc.) und dem Privileg Beruf und Berufung vereinen zu können, verneigen wir uns bis zu den Zehenspitzen vor unseren Zuhörern. Mucho gracias grande fürs Mittanzen, Mitsingen und Mitfühlen! Wir wollen euch nur mal eben sagen, dass Ihr das Größte für uns seid. Und das seit 30 Wunderbaren Jahren! Let´s Go!

From special features like World Cup hits, MTV Unplugged, horizon-expanding music videos, records made of wood/gold/platinum, reading tours in opera houses to the "completely normal" madness of a band, including unforgettable tours with the best crew in the universe. From being the opening act for Foo Fighters, Green Day, and Grönemeyer to supporting bands like Ash, Nada Surf, Franz Ferdinand, and Kaiser Chiefs. Everything is included. From the always supportive and driving management to the constantly integratable social commitment. Against the creative gap, against the envious, against the mood makers, but always knowing that what we do can't logically please everyone. Who manages that, apart from Florian Wirtz?

With the tools and background of a radio play, two EPs, ten albums, millions of concerts (for example Eggenfelden, Neustrelitz, Hamburg, Tashkent, Madrid, London, New York, etc.) and the privilege of being able to unite profession and calling, we bow down to our listeners down to our toes. Mucho gracias grande for dancing along, singing along, and feeling along! We just want to say that you are the greatest for us.
